Research Fora strives to create a seamless and professional environment for presenters to share their work. Whether presenting in-person or virtually, adherence to the following guidelines will ensure a successful presentation:
Oral Presentations
Time Allocation: Each oral presentation is allocated 12 minutes, with 10 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A.
Presenter Eligibility: Only the primary author or co-author listed in the paper can deliver the presentation.
Equipment Requirements: Presenters can use their laptops or the provided conference systems, preloaded with presentation software such as PowerPoint.
Backup Plan: Carry your presentation file on a USB drive and ensure compatibility with the conference system.
Poster Presentations
Specifications: Posters must adhere to the 36-inch x 48-inch size requirement. Use clear fonts, high-resolution images, and concise text to communicate your research effectively.
Setup and Removal: Posters must be displayed before the welcome address and removed after the session concludes. Presenters must ensure the poster is visually appealing and informative.
Interaction with Attendees: At least one presenter must be available during the session to engage with attendees and answer questions.
Virtual Presentations
Pre-conference Setup: A mandatory technical test will be conducted to verify connectivity, audio, and video quality.
Professional Setup: Use a quiet, well-lit space with a neutral background to maintain professionalism. Ensure your microphone and webcam are functioning correctly.
Platform Guidelines: Research Fora uses platforms like Zoom. Presenters must download the latest version of the software before the event.
